Natalie's Dessert Buffet

For Natalie's 1st Birthday, I made the party setup and dessert buffet table my personal project :) I couldn't wait to style and arrange everything! And with the help of my friends Marge and Bing, I was able to come up with the setup that I wanted. Check out the photos below.

The party's main color motif was yellow and white with fuschia pink!

I prepared clear glass vases for flowers and placed colorful labels which I made myself.
I chose mums and gerberas in pink, yellow and white!
I also brought photos of Natalie in white frames and placed them on both sides of the table.

I designed and made labels for the desserts

My table backdrop concept was raindrops with sunshine - so I had ribbons in white, yellow, silver,
and a few in pale blue and pink placed on the plain fabric backdrop.
I then had white and yellow balloons arranged randomly to give the effect of rain.
I provided the printed fuschia fabric which I think gave a wonderful look to the table.
The pastel colored desserts I ordered looked great with my color scheme :)

I ordered several types of desserts for the buffet setup from Coco Cakes!
We had chocolate and red velvet cupcakes with plain frosting, chocolate banana cupcakes with
fondant topping, and vanilla cake pops in ice cream cones :)
We also had rice krispies in the form of a yellow smiley sun,
and raincloud and sun cookies!

And here is the guests' favorite salted caramel macarons in pink, light aqua and yellow! yum ;9
This really cute (and yummy!) birthday cake was made for us by Erika of Bohemia Cakes

We placed the Happy Birthday banderitas that I designed and printed in front of the table to complete the setup

And after the desserts were wiped out by everyone, we used the backdrop for our pictures!
Thanks Patty for the idea ;) We really made good use of our decor haha!

Thought I should try these treats myself! hehe!

Thank you to Michelle Teves of Coco Cakes for making (and baking!) our desserts
and for letting us use your plates and trays ;)

Thanks Marge for arranging the desserts just the way I wanted ;)
(and for saving me some to eat haha!)
