My Little Buttercup

Last week, I was invited to try out the food at My Little Buttercup Bakery and Cafe in SM City BF. This wasn't actually the first time that I heard about them - as their very yummy and moist Red Velvet cupcake made its mark in my memory (and taste buds!) ever since I first tried it at Coco Nail Studio during a private party.

My Little Buttercup is located at the 2nd Floor of SM City BF

Their interiors are a combination of ideas from husband-wife team Vic and Ros Gelano.
We just loved the charming and cozy, well lit space. It would be the perfect venue for
Bridal Showers, Baby Showers or just a gathering amongst friends :)

With Kelly, Patty and Natalie giving us a big smile in one photo and a baby cow's moo in another :D

Photos with Ros, the owner and baker, and Sofia her lovely daughter and the girls' new playmate :)

If you're a mom craving for some time with your girlfriends but can't leave your kids anywhere else, it's ok to take them along because My Little Buttercup has a Kids' Nook. When they saw that I had my girls and niece along, they prepared some art materials and brought out their Madagascar dvd ;) The girls had so much fun that they didn't want to leave.

Audrey loved hanging out at their kids' nook!

Now onto the food!!! :9 We ordered the pink lemonade which was refreshing and a good companion to the rest of our orders. For starters we had the yummy Mango, Walnut and Blue Cheese salad, freshly made Pumpkin Soup and Chorizo Dip. While chatting, we couldn't help but comment not just on what we loved about the dishes, but how cute and quaint the plates and bowls were.

For the main dishes, my personal favorite was the tasty flame grilled Angus Burger that came with a pail
of seasoned fries! ;9 The Baby Back Ribs are great too if you are craving for rice!

And for dessert, we got to try the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Hazelnut Truffle Cupcake (made from Nutella), Chocolate Velvet and Red Velvet Cupcakes! (The Velvets are my personal favorites!)
You should also try their French Hot Chocolate! Sooo good and creamy :9

And last but definitely not least, their Tea is a must try! I can honestly say that their Harney & Sons Tea
(in Paris flavor which is black tea with fruit and caramel) is the best tea I've tasted so far! :)
It goes oh so perfectly with the cupcakes! No sugar needed! ;)

Thanks so much Kelly and Patty for bringing me along on this food and dessert fest!
I enjoyed the food and the company, and my girls had so much fun as well!
Thank you to Vic and Ros for your warmth and hospitality! Really enjoyed
hanging out and eating! :9 Will be back again :)
